I have a suggestion for a weekend ride to the Motorcycle Museum @ Tamworth, maybe in spring when it warms up a bit but before summer. Ride up the Putty Rd and connect with the New England Hwy at Singleton and then up to Tamworth. Would be probably about 6 hrs each way and we can book into a motel and have dinner and drinks somewhere, and ride back on Sunday. Â
Just a thought

From Harry G'day Det. My suggestion for a great ( long ) week end ride is the Oxley Hwy. Leave Sydney on Friday, it's about 5. 1/2Â easy hours to Uralla - the pub we visited. Sat morning - they serve a great breakfast, head back to Walcha and then down the Oxley Sat night, the pub usually has a good band, real good food and lots of eye candy from Armidale Uni turn up. Sunday - you can do the Oxley again, Port Maq - slab it home down the coast - or -Â back down Thunderbolts Have a look at http://www.nowwhereroute.com/travelmate/mapmaker/mappage.aspx?type=uralla_NSW_long+flat_NSW Cheers..
